What these networks actually are
The Spot – MTN
A sports channel run by the six Montana Television Network stations — KTVQ Billings, KXLF Butte, KBZK Bozeman, KRTV Great Falls, KTVH Helena and KPAX Missoula — carrying Scripps Sports coverage of the Big Sky. It is a digital subchannel, which is why it shows up as a decimal channel over the air: 7.2 in Bozeman, 2.2 in Billings, 4.2 in Butte, 3.2 in Great Falls, 12.2 in Helena, 8.2 in Missoula. On Spectrum it is channel 11 in most Montana markets (12 in Great Falls, 18 in Missoula). It does not exist outside Montana.
ESPN+ vs ESPN and ESPN2
These are different products and the difference costs people games every year. ESPN+ is a separate paid subscription; a cable package that includes ESPN does not include it. ESPN and ESPN2 are ordinary cable channels — the Northern Arizona and Idaho games are there, and your normal TV package almost certainly covers them. Nearly every other game this season falls to ESPN+.
Bobcat Radio Network
Every game, with Keaton Gillogly on play-by-play. KXLB 100.7 FM is the Bozeman flagship; KGHL 790 AM / 94.7 FM in Billings, KXTL 1370 AM in Butte, KMPT 930 AM in Missoula, KINX 102.7 FM in Great Falls, KGEZ 600 AM / 96.5 FM in Kalispell. The call also streams free on the Varsity Network app, which is the easiest option from out of state.
