What channel is the game on?

Scripps Sports is carrying this one on The Spot – MTN, the sports channel run by the six Montana Television Network stations, and it is also airing on KTGF in Great Falls and KTVH in Helena. The Spot is a digital subchannel, so over the air it sits on a decimal channel that changes by market:

The Spot – MTN over-the-air channel by Montana city
City Over the air Spectrum
Bozeman7.211
Billings2.211
Butte4.211
Great Falls3.212
Helena12.211
Missoula8.218

Over-the-air numbers are the ones Scripps listed for this game. Spectrum numbers come from the Scripps carriage announcement and have been stable through the season; DirecTV carries The Spot somewhere between channels 4 and 14 depending on your market. If your guide still shows the CBS affiliate, you are on the main channel — go one up, to the .2.

Can I stream it?

Yes — on ESPN+, which is where every Big Sky home game that is not on a national ESPN network ends up. If you are watching from outside Montana, that is your only option: The Spot – MTN does not exist outside the state and is not on any national streaming package.

One thing that trips people up: ESPN+ is not the same as having the ESPN app through a cable login. A cable subscription that gets you ESPN and ESPN2 does not include ESPN+ games. Next week's Northern Arizona game is on ESPN2, which flips that around — that one your cable package probably does cover.

Radio and audio

The Bobcat Radio Network carries every game with Keaton Gillogly on play-by-play, Leo Davis in the booth and Dan Davies on the sideline. The Bozeman flagship is KXLB 100.7 FM. Around the state:

Out of range of all of those, the radio call streams free on the Varsity Network app and at msubobcats.com.
